How do I change or cancel my booking?
There can often be some confusion around what we do here at Skyscanner. It\'s OK, we’re not offended. It can be confusing! So let\'s clear it up
Step 1: If you can鈥檛 remember the name of the travel agent or airline the booking is with, check your email for a booking confirmation. It should have been sent to you when you confirmed the booking.
In your email, try searching for the destination. Or simply search 鈥榖ooking confirmation鈥? It should show up.
Step 2: Still can鈥檛 find it? Check your junk folder and your spam folder. Sometimes your email will filter things in here by mistake.
Step 3: Still no luck? You used a card to pay so the booking will be on your bank statement. Check your statement for the payment, and the name of the airline or the travel agent should be right there next to the charge.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
For changes, cancellations or refunds, we recommend that you contact the travel provider (airline or travel agent) agent that you completed your booking with.
As a travel search engine, Skyscanner doesn鈥檛 take your booking or payment ourselves. Instead, we pass you through to your chosen airline or travel agent where you make your booking directly. We therefore don鈥檛 have access or visibility to any of your booking information. Why was the price different on Skyscanner to the one I was sent in my price alert?
The price alerts emails are intended as a guide, and are based on a snapshot in time on the day it was sent for a single adult travelling. Flight availability, meanwhile, is live and can change very rapidly based on traveller demand and airline pricing structures.
At times, this can result a flight that you have an alert set up for no longer available at the emailed price, or at all.
